Description: The EuroEQEDD format is one of the most extensive/detailed standard EQuIS formats, tailored to the data requirements of Europe. It contains sections for location, lab, and field data.

Installation Instructions: The EuroEQEDD format can be included in the installation of EDP Standalone and EQuIS Professional, but must be selected during installation, as detailed in the Installing System Format Files article. This format is also provided with the installation of EQuIS Enterprise but requires configuration to be available in the Enterprise EDP EDD Upload widget. If the format should be configured for EQuIS Enterprise, an administrator will need to define the commit type and other EDP Enterprise elements as defined in the Workflow Widget and Add or Modify Enterprise EDP Formats articles.

Overview: The EuroEQEDD is a multiple section format that includes sections for Locations, Wells, Water Levels, Field Samples, Field Results, Soil, Gas, and Lab Data.

Limitations/Assumptions: The checks and mappings in any EDD format involve assumptions. The following are limitations and assumptions for the EuroEQEDD format:

•Test Alternate Keys (TAKs)

•The COLUMN_NUMBER and IDENTIFIER columns are omitted in the LabData section. A commit of this data to the database would result in this column being set to dbNull. If the database TAKs include COLUMN_NUMBER and/or IDENTIFIER, the following error may occur upon commit:

“Column 'column_number' does not allow nulls.” OR “Column 'identifier' does not allow nulls.”

Fields selected to be included as part of the TAK are automatically required (i.e., nulls are not allowable in any key fields). If the target database TAKs include either COLUMN_NUMBER and/or IDENTIFIER, the EuroEQEDD format cannot be used and an alternate format, such as EQEDD or EQEDD_v2, should be used.

Exports: The data returned will be automatically filtered by the facility to which the user is connected, as well as by the parameters selected prior to running the report.

Note: Exports will not work as expected if the data were imported using a different format, as each format has different mappings, checks, etc.
