Description: The Water Quality eXchange (WQX) is a standardized data framework and submission mechanism for sharing water quality data that is administered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). The fields in the output of the WQX: PhysicalChemical_Result config7043 report correspond to the fields in the WQX Physical/Chemical Results Template. This report can be used to export properly formatted water quality data that can then be manually uploaded to WQX via WQXWeb, an online tool used to upload and share data with the USEPA and the public. The WQX Physical/Chemical Results Template can be accessed from Water Quality eXchange Web Template Files | US EPA.

See the EQuIS WQX Package Overview for more information on WQX, related terminology, and anticipated workflow for using EQuIS to submit data to WQX.

Installation Instructions: This report is available as part of a format package (EQEDD_WQX_FormatPackage.zip). See the WQX Package Installation and Configuration article for more details.

Place the report file (Earthsoft.Reports.Library.d51374.dll) in the EQuIS Professional installation folder. For default installations this directory is C:\Program Files\EarthSoft\EQuIS or (for per-user installation) %localappdata%\Programs\EarthSoft\EQuIS\. The report will be available for selection once Professional has been relaunched.

For Enterprise use, this report should be published to the database. When publishing the report, the assembly should be stored in the database. The report will be available for selection once it has been published.

Notes:

•The EQuIS WQX Schema (schema.WQX.xme) is not included with the standard EQuIS installation and must be manually applied. See Apply Additional Modules/Schemas to a Database for additional information.

•A Premium Enterprise license is required to apply the EQuIS WQX Schema to an EQuIS Enterprise site. See Applying Licenses in EQuIS Enterprise for additional information.

•The Sample Collection Equipment Comment field pulls from DT_EQUIPMENT_NOTE.REMARK where DT_FIELD_SAMPLE.EQUIPMENT_CODE = DT_EQUIPMENT_NOTE.EQUIPMENT_CODE. The WQX Biological Results and Habitat Results reports both pull from RT_EQUIPMENT_TYPE.EQUIPMENT_TYPE_DESC.

Overview: The WQX: PhysicalChemical_Result config 7043 report uses the same parameters as the WQX: Result report, which is included in the EQuIS WQX Schema. The report output is structured like the WQX Physical/Chemical Results Template (specifically the "Results - config#7043) and is used to upload data from EQuIS to WQXWeb. The report is configured for the WQX 3.0 - Physical/Chemical template.

The following file types are acceptable for upload to WQXWeb:

•CSV (Comma delimited)

•Microsoft Excel (xlsx)

•Microsoft Excel 97-2003 (xls)
