•Report Exclusively on Subfacility Locations
A subfacility can be added as a group member in the Groups Form.
To define a subset of locations, create a subfacility.
1.Add a record to the DT_SUBFACILITY table.
2.Add the member locations in AT_SUBFACILITY_LOCATION. Set the SUBFACILITY_CODE as desired.
3.Optionally, populate RT_SUBFACILITY_TYPE and designate the subfacility type in the DT_SUBFACILITY table.
1.Create and populate the group:
a.Select Groups from the Edit section on the Professional Home Ribbon.
b.Right-click on the Location group type in the left pane of the Groups Form, and select New Group.
c.Enter the new GROUP_CODE and any additional details on the Group Details tab.
d.Click the Group Members tab.
e.In the Available Members list along the bottom, filter the final column, MEMBER_TYPE, for SUBFACILITY_CODE.
f.Double-click on the desired subfacility group(s).
g.Click Save on the Groups toolbar to save the new location group.
2.Change the group type:
a.Select Tables from the Open section of the Home ribbon, then Reference Tables in the Open window.
b.Open RT_GROUP_MEMBER and filter the GROUP_CODE column to the new subfacility.
c.Update the MEMBER_TYPE from SYS_LOC_CODE to SUBFACILITY_CODE.
d.Click Save.
3.Open the desired report, select the subfacility Location Group for the location group parameter, and run the report. The output will include only those locations associated with the subfacility/subfacilities assigned to the Location Group.
The DT_LOCATION table does not need the SUB_FACILITY field populated when using this method. If DT_LOCATION.SUBFACILITY_CODE is populated, it should reflect the subfacility member locations specified in AT_SUBFACILITY_LOCATION. The report will check both tables for locations associated with the subfacility in the group and include all in the output.
