Description: The EIA: Active Planned Tasks report can be used to notify the user of changes to the state of planned tasks configured with the EQuIS Sample Planning Module. For example, an EIA could be configured to generate report output based on a planned task being marked for review (DT_SPM_PLANNED_TASK.PLANNED_TASK_STATE = R_REVIEW).

Installation Instructions: This report requires a licensed SPM and the SPM Schema applied to the database. For SPM usage, no additional steps are necessary. For Enterprise use, this report should be published to the database. When publishing the report, the assembly should be stored in the database. The report will be available for selection once it has been published.

Overview:

When properly configured, this report can help facilitate the planned task approval process.

Example:

1.A scheduling user configures a new planned task and sets the state = Needs Review.

2.An EIA: Active Planned Tasks agent configured to generate scheduled output of all planned tasks with state = Review is delivered to the approving user, notifying the user to review the new planned task.

3.The approving user reviews the planned task and updates the task to either Approved or Rejected as appropriate, adding descriptive comments to the task.

4.A separate EIA: Active Planned Tasks agent configured to generate scheduled output of all planned tasks with state = Approved OR state = Rejected is delivered to the scheduling user, notifying the user to make changes, cancel, or schedule the planned task.

Plan Code	Parameter to select the sample plan code. Only plans with applicable tasks are shown.
Select Task Type(s)	Pameter for selecting task type(s).
Select Action(s)	Parameter for selecting actions to show active planed tasks in that state: a_approved, r_review, or x_rejected.

If listed, the Additional Fields parameter may be customized as explained in How To Customize the Additional Fields Parameter.

Consult an EQuIS administrator if hidden parameters should be visible or use different default values in a published report (a report that allows saving of user reports). Hidden parameters cannot be viewed or changed in unpublished reports outside of a report parameter file.
