RASS Logger

This article explains how to import RASS (Radio Acoustic Sounding System) Logger files. A similar process is followed when importing Partisol and Generic Field Results logger files.

1.The line starting with "!,1,2" is the header row.

2.The lines starting with "!,1,3" are the data rows.

3.All of the other rows in the example do not get imported.

4.No unit rows are imported but can be set up.

5.Currently only following columns are imported

Importing

 

1.Create a Location and Task in EDGE.

2.Go to the Field Samples Form. If there are no rows, add a new row and populate the required fields.

3.The user can setup any pertinent units on the FieldSamples Form.

4.Go to the Device Manager and select Field Results.

5.  Import a txt file into the RASS Section.

6.  The results will be imported in the Field Results section of the "Field Samples" Form.

7.  A sample mapping feature can be used on import.
