Description: The Geotechnical Grain Size Analysis report combines the sieve and hydrometer analysis results and plots a Grain Size Distribution. This report filters the results based on the selected task and will only display samples that have an associated DT_GEO_TEST table record where DT_GEO_TEST.TEST_TYPE = ‘Sieve’, ‘Sieve_Readings’, ‘Hydrometer’, and ‘Hydrometer_Readings’ with the DT_GEO_TEST.TEST_METHOD = ‘ASTM D422’, ‘ASTM C136’, , ‘AASHTO T-88’ or null. This report can be run in EQuIS Professional or published to EQuIS Enterprise.
Installation Instructions: This report requires an EQuIS Geotech license and the Geotech Schema applied to the database. The Geotechnical Grain Size Analysis report (EarthSoft.Reports.Library.176839.dll) is available for download in the Products\EQuIS Geotech folder on the Downloads Dashboard on the EarthSoft Community Center. For Enterprise use, this report should be published to the database. When publishing the report, the assembly should be stored in the database. The report will be available for selection once it has been published.
Additional Details:
For the sieve analysis results, this report plots the percent finer value against the sieve diameter size. For the hydrometer analysis, the report plots the percent finer and the associated particle diameter value. Based on the data available, the report calculates the D60, D30, and D10 Coefficient of curvature (Cc) and the Uniformity Coefficient (Cu) values per sample. Each curve on the plot corresponds to one sample.
When running the report, DT_SAMPLE.TASK_CODE must be populated to generate an output.
This report supports task_code based paging.
