Description: The Geotechnical CPT - Pore Pressure Dissipation report produces a graphical output of Pore Pressure and Normalized Pore Pressure against Depth. This report filters the results based on the selected task and will only display locations that have the appropriate data in the DT_DOWNHOLE_POINT_DATA table. This report references the EQUIS.GEOTECH_CPT_DISSIPATION_DATA database function to grab the related data to report. This report can be run in EQuIS Professional or published to EQuIS Enterprise.

 

Installation Instructions: This report requires an EQuIS Geotech license and the Geotechnical Schema applied to the database. The Geotechnical CPT - Pore Pressure Dissipation report (EarthSoft.Reports.Library.d26526.dll) is available for download in the Products\EQuIS Geotech folder on the Downloads Dashboard on the EarthSoft Community Center. For Enterprise use, this report should be published to the database. When publishing the report, the assembly should be stored in the database. The report will be available for selection once it has been published.

 

Note: To run the Geotechnical CPT - Pore Pressure Dissipation report in Professional, the EarthSoft.Reports.Library.176839.dll file must be copied into the Professional EQuIS folder (the default location is C:\Program Files\EarthSoft\EQuIS or, for per-user installation, %localappdata%\Programs\EarthSoft\EQuIS\). The EarthSoft.Reports.Library.176839.dll file is a referenced assembly for the EarthSoft.Reports.Library.d26526.dll file and must be present in the directory.

 

Additional Details:

 

This report produces a graphical output of the CPT Dissipation test results. The format of the output is dependent on the user selected report parameters. In the report parameters, the user has the option to select whether they would like to display Pore Pressure or Normalized Pore Pressure on either a Log or Square Root of Time plot. Based on the selected parameters, the report selects the appropriate sheet to populate in the template. Within the report parameters, the user also has the option to report their time in minutes or seconds.

 

This report supports task_code based paging.

 

 

Template:

 

The Geotechnical CPT Pore Pressure Dissipation report is designed to use a selected Microsoft Excel template.

 

Note: The EarthSoft_CPTDissipationTest.xlsx template file is provided with EQuIS Geotech. See the Geotechnical Template Configuration article for detailed information on editing/creating Excel templates for use with EQuIS Geotech reports.

 

The chosen template must have a separate sheet for the Pore Pressure and Normalized Pore Pressure plot and the Log Time or Square Root of Time (T^0.5) plot. The template sheets must be named in the following manner:

The report is built to respect the chart properties defined within each sheet of the template. This includes the chart type, axis scale type, and the minimum and maximum X/Y axis values. If the minimum/maximum axis values are set to AUTO in the template, then the report dynamically defines these axis values based on the data being plotted. Unit axis titles can be used in the chart axis by using the “{pressure_units}” and “{depth_unit}”name manager fields.

 

Only the Project/Location related Shared Attributes detailed in the Shared Report Attributes article apply to this report. The following Excel Name Manager fields are specific to the Geotechnical CPT Pore Pressure Dissipation report.

Excel Template

Parameter for selecting Excel template. The report searches the DT_FILE table where DT_FILE.PLACE_TYPE = ‘CPT_PPDissipationTest’.

Override Template
(EQuIS Professional Only)

Parameter to enter the full file path to use a local override template. This parameter is only available in EQuIS Professional.

Output File Type

Parameter for selecting the output file type. The options are PDF or Excel.

X-Axis Parameter

Parameter to output elapsed time in minutes or seconds.

X-Axis Scale

Parameter to output elapsed time in LOG or square root of time (T^0.5).

Y-Axis Parameter

Parameter to output Pore Pressure or Normalized Pore Pressure results.
