Installation Instructions: See the EnviroInsite Report Installation article for more detailed information.
For EQuIS Professional, a local installation of EQuIS EnviroInsite 7 is required to run the report.
Note: Using versions of EnviroInsite and Professional on the same machine that are not aligned can produce an 'evaluation' version of the report output. This occurs when using: •A version of EnviroInsite >7.23.2 and a version of Professional <7.23.2 •A version of EnviroInsite <7.23.3 and a version of Professional > 7.23.2 |
For EQuIS Enterprise, additional files must be added to the Enterprise bin folder. The required files are packaged (EnviroInsite_Enterprise_package_x64_{#}.zip) and available on the EarthSoft Community Center Downloads page (All Items\Products\EnviroInsite\v7). An EnviroInsite Decision Support license must be present as a valid entry in the ST_LICENSE table.
Overview:
An EnviroInsite document file, as described below, is required to run this export report. The value of DT_FACILITY. COORD_TYPE_CODE must be consistent with its value when the EnviroInsite document was originally created.
The EnviroInsite document does not contain the source data. All source data is contained within the EQuIS database and facility to which the user are attached when running the report. The EnviroInsite document is an XML file with a VIZX file extension. It describes each of the views and the contained objects. Individual views may consist of mapped plan views, cross-sections, Piper diagrams, Stiff diagrams, boring logs, time history charts, Schoeller diagrams, or Durov diagrams.
The EnviroInsite document file should be created in the desktop application of EnviroInsite and imported into the EQuIS database prior to running the report. Complete the following steps to create a document file:
1.Start EnviroInsite.
2.Add the views and objects to appear in the report output.
3.Create the document file by selecting File> Save As from the main menu and entering a file name.
The contents of the document are stored in the DT_FILE table. To load an EnviroInsite document into the DT_FILE table, connect to a facility in EQuIS Professional and check that a record exists within the RT_FILE_TYPE table set to “.vizx”. If needed, add a record to the RT_FILE_TYPE table with a FILE_TYPE value of “.vizx”. Typically, document files are uploaded into the database using the Docs and Photos Form within EQuIS Professional. The FILE_TYPE field should be set to ".vizx", and the file content is stored in the CONTENT field. The FACILITY_ID value must be set in the DT_FILE record containing the VIZX document file.
EnviroInsite document files contain object properties that are frequently unique to a particular database and facility. Therefore, in most instances it is not recommended that a document created for one database and facility be shared with other facilities.
This report may also be run from an EZView widget in EQuIS Enterprise. To appropriately run in the widget, the report needs to be published from EQuIS Professional for the database to be accessed from EQuIS Enterprise. Other supporting DLL files that must be present in the bin folder are listed below under Report Requirements.
Note: Multiple page boring logs will be printed on one page with multiple layers. If individual pages are desired, use the EnviroInsite Boring Logs report instead. |
Input Parameters: The following parameters may be selected from the standard EQuIS parameter selection interface. Readers are referred to the EnviroInsite documentation for more information on document properties and the properties of plotted objects.
