Install EDP Standalone

Note: EDP Standalone cannot be installed if a full EQuIS Professional is already installed. If that is the case, EDP Standalone xcopy can be used, steps below.

Machine Install

To install EDP Standalone, complete the steps below.

1.Download the correct version of EDP from the Products\EDP folder on Download Dashboard of the EarthSoft Community Center (ECC).

2.Unblock the downloaded files.

3.Extract the zip file and run the .msi file.

4.Launch EDP via the C:\Program Files\EarthSoft\EDP\EDP.exe or from Start Menu > All Programs > EarthSoft > EQuIS EDP Standalone.

EDP will open and users can begin to check and process data. Learn how to use EDP as explained in EDP QuickStart.

Use the Xcopy Install

EDP is available as an xcopy zip install. This means that EDP can be run on a machine without doing a full uninstall/install.

1.Download the EDP Standalone xcopy zip install from the Downloads Dashboard on the EarthSoft Community Center.

2.Unblock the downloaded zip file.

3.Extract the zip file.

4.Browse to .../EDP.exe and double-click to run.
