•Running a Report in Collect Mobile
There are two standard reports built into every template, the Form Summary and Form Table Summary. These reports are not published to the database and therefore can only be run in the Reports tab of Collect Mobile or from the Data Forms Page in Collect Enterprise under the Reports column.

The data used in these reports comes directly from the data form from which the report is run. Depending on where the data form is generated – locally or on the server (discussed in Create New Forms) – the reports will be available to run either locally (Local) or on the server (Server). Data forms created locally only have the option to run the report as a Local report, and the output will include only data collected by that user in the data form. Data forms generated from the server have the option to run the report as a Server report, and may combine data from all assigned users' data forms in the output.
Running a Report in Collect Mobile
1.After filling out a data form, tap the Reports icon to see the available reports.
Note: The Reports icon will not be displayed if no Template Reports were enabled in the template from which the data form was created. |
2.Select a report to run.
3.All form sections and form records are automatically selected for inclusion in the report output. Deselect a form section or form record to exclude it from the report.
4.Tap the Generate icon to run the report.
Note: Zoom functionality is not supported in Android or Universal Windows Platform (UWP). |
5.(Optional) To share a report, tap the Save button to save the report locally prior to sharing the document via email or another application.
Form Summary Report
The Form Summary report outputs all selected form sections and form records, with one form record per page. The Form Summary report is better suited for data forms that contain a lot of data or fields.
Form Table Summary Report
The Form Table Summary report outputs all selected form sections and form records in a tabular format and is best suited for data forms that do not contain a lot of data or fields (i.e., table columns).
Local Collect COC Report
Local, or offline, Collect COC (Chain of Custody) reports are custom reports that EarthSoft built into EarthSoft-provided templates, such as the General Water Sampling Template. A local Collect COC can be built into a custom Collect template through EarthSoft Services (see example in screen shot below). Please contact sales@earthsoft.com if interested in a custom COC report..
The Local Collect COC report can be saved as a PDF file and available locally for only that user and with data collected on the form.
