Description: The SPM_CONTRACT format will export contracts from a selected plan code, contractor code, and (optional) Method Analyte Group to a different plan code and/or a different contractor code. The format has the contract start date as an additional primary key (used to check for duplicates) together with the plan code and lab code. The saved EDD file can then be imported into the same or another facility.

Installation Instructions: This format requires a licensed SPM and the SPM Schema applied to the database.

•For SPM usage, no additional steps are necessary.

Overview:

The SPM_CONTRACT format contains the following sections:

•DT_SPM_Contract – Populates the DT_SPM_CONTRACT table. This table contains general information about the SPM contract.

•DT_SPM_Contract_Method_Cont – Populates the DT_SPM_CONTRACT_METHOD, DT_SPM_CONTRACT_CONTAINER, and AT_SPM_CONTRACT_METH_CONTAINER tables. The DT_SPM_CONTRACT_METHOD table contains information about the analytic method(s) associated with the SPM contract. The DT_SPM_CONTRACT_CONTAINER table contains information about the sampling containers associated with the SPM contract. The AT_SPM_CONTRACT_MTH_CONTAINER table combines information from both the DT_SPM_CONTRACT_METHOD and DT_SPM_CONTRACT_CONTAINER tables.

•DT_SPM_Contract_Method – Populates select fields in the DT_SPM_CONTRACT_METHOD table.

•DT_SPM_Contract_Mag – Populates the DT_SPM_CONTRACT_MAG table. This table contains information about the method analyte group(s) associated with the SPM contract.

•DT_SPM_Contract_Mag_Members – Populates the DT_SPM_CONTRACT_MAG_MEMBERS table. This table contains information about the particular analytes assigned to the method analyte groups associated with the SPM contract.

Limitations/Assumptions: The checks and mappings in any EDD format involve assumptions. The following are assumptions and limitations for the SPM_CONTRACT format.

•The plan_code associated with the SPM contract must exist in the DT_SPM_PLAN table.

•DT_SPM_Contract_Mag.group_type must be populated with “FIELD” for field measurements or left blank for lab analysis.

Exports: The data returned will be automatically filtered by the facility to which the user is connected, as well as by the parameters selected prior to running the report.

Note: Exports will not work as expected if the data were imported using a different format, as each format has different mappings, checks, etc.
