Moving Objects

Virtually all objects not associated with a particular geographic location can be moved using the mouse. This includes CAD and bitmap images, well labels, time history graphs, plot legends, profile maps (on cross-section views), data tables, pie charts, scales, north arrows, circles, rectangles, and radial diagrams. To move an object, locate the cursor over the object to be moved and press the left mouse button. Wait till the mouse cursor changes to a crossed-arrow and then move the mouse while holding down the mouse button. Release the button to stop moving the object. To move multiple objects, select the objects and select Modify> Move. Using the mouse, move the objects to their new locations.

In some cases, it may be desirable for objects to not be moveable. For instance, drawn entities or images that are tied to specific coordinates should not be moved. Many objects contain a check box in their dialog box to determine whether or not the object is movable using a mouse.
