Bitmap images of the current view can be saved in png, gif, jpg, bmp, tif, emf, or tga file formats. Exports to bitmap may be useful for import to applications that do not support the dxf or emf file formats. Bitmap files are also frequently used in web applications.

To export an image or page layout as an image, select File> Export> Image. The Export dialog box opens. Select a path, filename and set the image resolution. The extension indicated in the filename will automatically select the image file type. For jpg files, select an image quality value of between 1 and 100 that determines the image file size and quality. Click the Export button to save the image.
