The Locations table contains the local coordinates of all sampling points. Typically, EnviroInsite works with a single set of rectilinear coordinates selected by the user. Locations may also be entered using decimal latitude-longitude coordinates. This is specified by changing the field names from the conventional Easting and Northing to Longitude and Latitude, respectively. Location coordinates entered as longitude and latitude are automatically converted to metric UTM coordinates.
In versions prior to EnviroInsite 2016, this table was known as the Wells table. EnviroInsite is backwards compatible and can still read files with a Wells table instead of the Locations table.
The fields below are required when using an EnviroInsite database and must follow the naming convention for Field Name as indicated in the following table.
