Apply the EQuIS Vapor Intrusion Schema (schema.Vapor.xme) to the EQuIS database according to the steps outlined in the Update EQuIS Database article.
Note: The EQuIS database must already be updated to EQuIS 7. |

The EQuIS Vapor Intrusion Schema changes account for the one-to-many relationships between EQuIS and vapor intrusion reference values and are necessary for data import and export in EDP.
The Vapor Intrusion Schema stores data in the following new tables:
•RT_BUILDING_TYPE – Reference table for types of buildings; parent table to DT_BUILDING_INSPECTION.
•RT_FOUNDATION_TYPE – Reference table for types of foundations; parent table to DT_BUILDING_INSPECTION.
•RT_BUILDING_USE_TYPE – Reference table for types of building use; parent table to DT_BUILDING_INSPECTION.
•RT_COUNTY – This table is also added by the AQS and WQX Schemas and will already be present if the either Schema has been applied to the EQuIS database.
•DT_BUILDING_INSPECTION – This table contains building and building inspection related information.
The following new fields are also added to existing tables with the Vapor Intrusion Schema:
•DT_FIELD_SAMPLE table – FLOOR_MATERIAL, SLAB_THICKNESS, SUBFLOOR_MATERIAL, SUBFLOOR_MOISTURE, SEAL_TYPE, SEAL_ADEQUATE_YN, PURGE_YN, PURGE_PID, PURGE_PID_UNIT, VAC_GAUGE_INITIAL, VAC_GAUGE_FINAL, VAC_GAUGE_UNIT, VAPOR_LOC_DESC, and TRACER_TEST_PASS_YN
•DT_SAMPLE.SAMPLE_END_DATE
•DT_SUBFACILITY_PARAMETER. TASK_CODE
•DT_TASK.BUILDING_USE_TYPE
