XY charts can still be created using TeeCharts in EQuIS Professional 7 by holding down the Shift key on the keyboard while clicking the XY Chart 
button.
In addition to the documentation in the XY/XYZ Charts chapter, XY Charts - 'Name of worksheet must be unique in a workbook.' Error is available for reference in the Troubleshooting chapter.
