The OBJ format, developed by Wavefront Technologies, is an open file format and one of the early formats developed for storing 3D graphics objects. Exporting to the OBJ format is as simple as clicking File> Export> CAD/SHP and selecting a file type with the OBJ extension.
Wavefront OBJ is highly effective in storing 3D graphics and can be read by 3D applications, such as Sketchfab. One of the downsides of the OBJ format, with respect to the display of EnviroInsite graphics, is the inability to store labels as text strings.
