OpenEquisDatabase Data is Null Error

On connecting to an EQuIS database in EnviroInsite, the following error message is provided:

OpenEquisDatabase

Data is Null. This method or property cannot be called on null values

at System.data.sqlclient.sqlbuffer.get_string()

at ei_dblib3.equisConstityentTbl.GetAnalytlists()

at eiDocument.doc.OpenEquisData(errorString s)

This may be caused by having records in the RT_ANALYTE table in the EQuIS database that have null value(s) for the CHEMICAL_NAME field. To resolve the error, please populate RT_ANALYTE.CHEMICAL_NAME for all records.
