The EDP Package section contains the necessary tools to Create a package, commit it to the database, and execute a Rollback on a previously loaded EDD. This section also offers the tools to open a package, save a package, and save the current Reference Values for use in EDP Standalone.

When adding new data to a database using EDP, you must Create and Commit a Package.
1.Click the Professional Tab.
2.Click Create from the Package group.
3.Review the process window messages. If no errors occur, click Finish.
4.Select the Database\Facility preview tab at the bottom of the window to review the data.
Note: By default, the STATUS_FLAGs for all reference values are set to R for review. Most data managers choose to approve these values with a status flag of A during this step. |
5.Click Commit from the Package group and choose an appropriate Commit type (mouseover words for description).
6.Review the process window messages. Click Finish if no errors occur.
