ARII-ALEII Crosstab

Report Name: ARII-ALEII Crosstab (example)

File Name: EarthSoft.Reports.Library.160273.dll

Dependencies: Analytical Results II and Action Level Exceedance II with Parameters

Software: EQuIS Professional and EQuIS Enterprise

Source: EQuIS Professional install

Language: English

Output Type: Excel1

Description: The ARII-ALEII Crosstab Report generates, in a single step, cross-tabbed analytic results by themselves or with the results compared to up to six action levels with action level exceedances indicated with selected formatting. It uses the Analytical Results II and Action Level Exceedance II reports and an internal call to the Crosstab functionality to generate output and examine action level exceedances, including support for advanced action levels.

Installation Instructions: This report assembly is part of the EQuIS Professional installation. No additional installation steps are necessary.

Overview:

This report newly provides streamlined crosstab output and is limited to basic crosstab formatting options. For example, multiple action level formats can be selected, with a font format and background shade per action level, but font color is currently not available. If multiple background shades are selected for a single action level, the first color in the list will be displayed. To access more complex formats, use the Crosstab Form for manual selections.

Similarly, the ARII-ALEII Crosstab Report includes most of the input parameters from the ALE II with Parameters Report, in addition to the new Crosstab Configuration inputs shown below. The following ALEII parameters are not used: Action Level\Flagging\Exceedance Flag and Warning Flag and Include\Custom Fields from DT_ACTION_LEVEL and DT_ACTION_LEVEL_PARAMETER.

Note: By default, this report uses ST_REPORT_PARAMETER.DISPLAY_TYPE = "MultiSelectNonAlpha" to allow the report parameter selections for the Crosstab Column Headers, Row Headers and Tabbed Data to stay in the order that they were selected. (Typically, ST_REPORT.DISPLAY_TYPE = "MultiSelect" so that parameter selections are automatically arranged in alphabetical order.)

Report Parameters

Analytical Results section

Crosstab Configuration section

Action Level section

* This table shows partially expanded parameters. Refer to related report articles for complete input parameter lists (e.g. Analytical Results II.)

** The Additional Fields parameter may be customized as explained in the help article How To Customize Additional Fields Parameter.

Note: If you have the same action level used in more than one action level parameter (e.g. the same ACTION_LEVEL_CODE for the Action Level 1 parameter selection and the Action Level 2 parameter selection) the report will not generate output.

Comparison | Operator Parameter: There are four options for the Comparison | Operator parameter:

"<"   Within Limits (Exclusive): The analytical result is flagged as an exceedance if it is less than the action level and, if one exists, greater than the action_level_min. Equalities are not considered exceedances.

"<=" Within Limits (Inclusive): Same as above, but equalities are considered exceedances.

">"   Exceeds Limits (Exclusive): The analytical result is flagged as an exceedance if it is greater than the action level or, if one exists, less than the action_level_min. Equalities are not considered exceedances.

">=" Exceeds Limits (Inclusive) (the default): Same as above, but equalities are considered exceedances.

Comparison | Unit Parameter: There are two options for the Comparison | Unit parameter:

"report_result_unit": Values will be displayed in the units of the REPORT_RESULT column. Other columns will be converted to matching units as necessary.

"action_level_unit": Values will be displayed in the units of the ACTION_LEVEL column. Other columns will be converted to matching units as necessary.

Report Output

The output is a crosstab dependent upon the crosstab configuration section. By default, the crosstab, with no selections in the crosstab configuration section will include the following configuration:

Column Headers: Sample Date, Loc Code, Sample Code:

Row Headers: CAS RN, Chemical Name, Report Result Unit, Action Level(s)

EQuIS Information Agent (EIA)

The report can be set up with the EIA New Data (EDD) option "Limit report to only data within the EDD" in Enterprise Build 7.22.1 and up.

EQuIS Information Agent (EIA) Limitations

EIAs for this report cannot be configured with "Do not create a notice if there are no report results" checked.
