View Templates

EnviroInsite users frequently wish to create multiple views with similar or identical plotted objects. For instance, a typical use would be where multiple cross-sections are being created, each of which is to display plots of the same set of analytes and/or lithological descriptions. The View-Templates option simplify this process by recording the plotted objects and their properties for a given view. To create a view template, select the view tab that you want to copy from to make it the active view. Select View> Template> Save and provide a folder and file name of the saved template file. he description of the template is saved to an xml file. Next, make some other view active and select View> Template> Load. This will cause the display objects described in the view template to be created in the newly selected active tab window.
