This feature allows the user to receive reports sent from the server on field device(s). Each time when opening a form on the Collect mobile application, the user has access to the reports (called Mobile Reports) associated to the form.
For example, in the case of a water sampling form, the Chain of Custody report can be generated on the server and sent back to the user on their mobile device. It is important to note that the nature of the report must be in consonance with the purpose of the form itself, so that the user can choose and link a report to the form template.
To assign a report to a form template, the form template must be in development and not published. To add a mobile report, use the Mobile Reports button on the details portion of the Form Template Layout window.
Clicking on the Mobile Report button brings up the Mobile Reports page, where a list of the already created reports is available as well as the option of choosing and creating a new report. The report generated using this feature is identical with the one generated using the report feature described in the Map section.
