Description: The "Execute Scheduled Report" report allows you to run a scheduled EIA Report. You choose which scheduled EIA to run, then click the Go button. There is no output for the report, it simply tells workflow to start the scheduled report now instead of waiting for the scheduled time. The source EIA will continue to run on the originally designated schedule.

 

Installation Instructions: This report assembly is part of the EQuIS Professional installation. No additional installation steps are necessary.

 

Overview:

For example, suppose you create a scheduled EIA to run every Friday. On Tuesday, you need to view the output of the report based on current data. You can use the "Execute Scheduled Report" to invoke the scheduled EIA to be run now. The report will also run at the scheduled time on Friday. Another example may be if you have a report that will take a long time to execute and may cause a timeout in EQuIS Enterprise EZView. You could do the following:

 

1.Choose the desired Build Report.

2.Select the desired input parameters.

3.Save as Pick Report.

4.Save as Push Report (EIA).

5.Choose Schedule to schedule the EIA.

6.Choose the option for: Every 0 days starting today (select today's date).

 

After the report is scheduled, run the "Execute Scheduled Report", select your scheduled EIA, and click Go to run the scheduled report.

The output file has been added to the Manually Schedule EIA report contains the following message, "Congratulation: [ST_REPORT_EVENT.NAME] is scheduled successfully."
