How Do I Get Hatch Fill Areas to Plot?

Hatch fill areas are used both to indicate the annulus well fill material and natural soils. If a hatch fill area is plotting as a solid color rather than a hatch fill, the most likely cause is that the hatch scale has not been set correctly.

Set the individual hatch scales by selecting the material within the Fill Style tab of either the well construction or downhole fill object. The hatch scale provides the dimensions for which patterns are repeated. This will most likely take some trial and error to get it to appear as you like.
