EFD Management Configuration – Disable User Certificate Check

When uploading an EDD via the EDP EDD Upload widget, by default, the .usr certificate associated to the current user logged into EQuIS Enterprise will always be included in the ZIP package (regardless if one is already present). The .usr certificate will be added to the ZIP package and will be used in place of an existing .usr certificate. This is to prevent rejection of the EDD due to simple user oversight.

 

To prevent this change and to require that the EDD be uploaded with the .usr certificate included in the ZIP package, add a record to the ST_CONFIG table as shown below.

 

Note: Users must have Creator permissions on EDDs to generate a User Certificate.
