VPN Error Connecting to EDP Standalone

When using VPN, the computer ID changes due to network changes. To solve this error, complete the steps below.

 

1.Close EDP Standalone.

2.Open the EDP.exe.config file, which can be found in ..\Program Files\EarthSoft\EQuIS.

3.Change <licenses> to <licenses ComputerIdType="CPUId" >. This should ensure that the ComputerID does not change, whether you are connected to the network or not.

 

Once this config file has been changed, it may be necessary to re-register EDP.
