Auto-Commit Timer

A feature has been added to EDP that can be turned on to automatically finish or cancel the commit after a certain period of time.

Turn on Auto-Commit Timer

Check the box on the commit step progress log form. If the feature is on, a count down timer will start after all of the rows have been processed. When the timer ends it will automatically finish if there were no errors, or cancel and create an error log if there were errors.

This may be useful when trying to commit large amounts of data and the user cannot monitor the progress that will lock the database for other users until the commit step is either finished or canceled.
