System tables are tables that contain information about a database, such as version/build number, published report configuration, and user information. EarthSoft strongly recommends that users do not edit any of these tables unless instructed.
Certain system tables can only be accessed or edited in EQuIS Professional by Administrators (Application Level Security Admin or direct SQL connection).
Non-admin users have the following system table access:
•the Open window shows a limited list of System Tables, consisting of ST_CALENDAR, ST_EDD_BATCH, ST_FILE_REGISTRATION, ST_USER, ST_USER_REPORT, and ST_USER_REPORT_PARAMETER
•the ST_USER table is read-only and only shows that user's data
•the ST_USER_REPORT and ST_USER_REPORT_PARAMETER only show user reports created by that user
